March is celebrated around the United States as Music in our Schools Month! During the month of march, students from around the country celebrate the joys of music through creating, performing, remixing, and sharing musical ideas and memories. This is a great time to listen to and show appreciation for your favorite music! Whether it is rock n roll, rap, country, hip-hop, or other makes no difference. March is the time for students to explore the limitless possibilities of music!

During the month of March, students will be checking out some unique instruments such as the banjo and the digeridoo - all while continuing their education of music notation and movement. Students will amplify their bucket drumming and become better at playing together as a group, as well as learning to respect one another and share in other crucial character building skills.
