Mr. Henigin is the Director of Bands and Choirs at Shade-Central City School District.

Mr. Henigin graduated in August of 2020 from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. He is currently certified to teach music in two states; Pennsylvania and Virginia. This is Mr. Henigin's second year teaching at Shade. Previously, Mr. H worked at Grace E. Metz Middle School in Manassas, VA as a music technology and guitar teacher. Mr. H has also worked with the award-winning Southmoreland Marching Band (Alverton, PA) for the last several years as well as teaching private lessons through the IUP Community Music School. Mr. H has enjoyed teaching and impacting students of all ages and ability levels and he looks forward to the opportunity to do so in the present and future.

Outside of music, Mr. H enjoys spending time with his wife and family, as well as hunting, fishing, and wood-working.
